Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Sarah has always been artistic.  She attended Newcomb College where she studied printmaking as her major.  She also studied ceramics and sculpture while at Newcomb, expanding her range of abilities.  She currently works in Mixed Media, Acrylics, Printmaking, Drawing and sews costumes for The Natchez Little Theatre.  She and her husband and daughter moved to Natchez in 2012 because she felt it was an artistically friendly and inspiring place where she could become involved and make an impact.  Her son lives in Chicago where he is a writer.  Since moving to Natchez they have been busy renovating their Queen Anne style home.

Sarah teaches Summer Camp, After School Art, Collage Techniques and Printmaking at the Art Center, the studio open to the public which is run by the Natchez Art Association.
